We’re delighted to partner with Insurance Post to investigate how insurance companies are developing career paths for the next generation whilst adapting training to upskill employees remotely.
Many firms have successfully adapted to a remote working world and continued to invest in employees and their personal and professional development during the pandemic. Despite many successful examples, the challenging and changing business environment has tested the resilience of these employers when it comes to recruitment and helping employees develop and prosper, especially with a reduction of in-person training and mentoring.
Our learning teams are passionate about developing talent that the insurance industry needs short term and for the future. We deliver a range of insurance specific apprenticeship programmes and bespoke training workshops tailored for the industry. With Covid-19 and lockdown restrictions, our programmes have adapted to the changing needs of both learners and employers. We have invested in digital learning platforms and upskilled our teams on how to deliver engaging programmes in a virtual classroom.
We’re extremely passionate about understanding and developing the very best learning programmes that will bring a positive impact for our clients and the future of the insurance industry. To deliver on this, we’ve partnered with Insurance Post to better understand how insurance businesses are adapting the personal development of their employees during a time when the majority of the workforce is working remotely, and with that unlikely to change in the foreseeable future; what and the implications for future employee training & development strategies are.
Investigating how insurers are taking advantage of government funded initiatives such as the apprenticeship levy is a key topic alongside how training needs and the use of digital training methods have changed during the pandemic. We’re also exploring what role diversity plays in recruiting talent to the industry, what organisations have done to replace in-person interactions and what some of the biggest changes the industry has seen in the learning and development space over the last 5-10 years are.
We’ve launched a survey to hear from learning & development professionals across the insurance industry, and hope to hear from you. Share your valued input here.
